Dům kultury Poldi Kladno has stood on náměstí Sítná since 1973, when it opened as the trade-union cultural house ROH SONP. Architect Václav Hilský designed the building, which originally featured a large ballroom with a balcony, the Hutník cinema, a ballet hall, and a mosaic by artist Karel Souček in the entrance hall. Renovated and reopened in 2013, it now serves as the city's main venue for balls, concerts, dance courses and exhibitions.
