About the venue

Music Lab is a small club tucked in the basement of the JAMU Faculty of Music in central Brno. It was set up as an open cultural space where jazz students meet the public at regular jam sessions, but the stage is also open to amateur bands, theatre groups and film screenings. The programming centres on jazz and related genres. Every year the club is the exclusive after-party partner for the Brno Jazzfest, hosting jam sessions with the festival's headline artists.
