Full Throttle
A summer exhibition blending detailed car models with artwork inspired by the aesthetics and character of classic and racing vehicles.
MěKIS (Municipal Cultural and Information Centre) was established on 1 January 2000 by merging the town's cinema, library, museum and a newly created information centre. As a municipal organisation, it now runs the tourist information centre, the Dr. Aleš Hrdlička Museum, the town library and the cinema. It regularly organises concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and lectures, with events taking place not only in dedicated venues but also on squares and in historic buildings.
