About the venue
Bernard family brewery in Humpolec has been brewing since 1597 and has operated in its current form since the 1991 privatisation. For its 30th anniversary it opened a visitor centre that won the Building of the Year 2023 award, featuring a permanent exhibition, the Na Štokách taproom serving tank beer, a shop, and guided tours of the working brewery and lagering cellars. The complex also includes a lookout tower built around the original brewery chimney, reached by 189 steps.
