About the venue

Znojmo's town fortifications rank among the best-preserved medieval defensive systems in Moravia. The circuit of walls, towers and gates dates mainly from the 14th and 15th centuries and still encircles the historic core. Today it provides a backdrop for outdoor cultural events and a popular walking route around the old town.
