About the venue

Mahenovo divadlo is a historic theatre building of the National Theatre Brno, opened in 1882. Designed by Viennese architects Fellner and Helmer, it was among the first theatres in Europe to feature electric lighting installed by Thomas Edison. Today it serves primarily as an opera and drama stage.
