About the venue

Kulturní centrum Svoboda is a municipal cultural centre in Cheb with a varied past - after World War II it served as a community hall, then in the 1990s it was privatised and used as a disco and casino, before the city reclaimed it and converted it into a modern multi-purpose venue. It now houses a main hall, a smaller club space and the Kino Art cinema. The programme covers concerts, balls, theatre performances, festivals, lectures and dance courses.
