About the venue

Palác Akropolis is an independent cultural centre in the Žižkov district of Prague 3, on Kubelíkova street. The corner building was designed by architect Rudolf Václav Svoboda and construction began in 1927; the original layout included a theatre hall, café, restaurant and a rooftop viewing terrace. Today it hosts concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and film screenings - the main hall holds up to 700 people, with a smaller stage, café and bar alongside.
