From Baroque to Jazz
A concert blending classical masterworks by Bach and Dvořák with Italian songs and jazz standards at St. Nicholas Church.
The Church of St Nicholas on Malostranské náměstí is the most famous Baroque church in Prague and has been a national cultural monument since 1995. The building took roughly a century to complete, with three generations of architects involved: Kryštof Dientzenhofer, Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer and Anselmo Lurago. The dome spans 20 m in diameter and the interior height to the top of the lantern is nearly 57 m, the highest in Prague. Concerts on the historic 18th-century organ are held here year-round.
