Description was written before the event

A guided walk along Pařížská Street from beginning to end. The tour focuses on the history of the Jewish Quarter, Prague's urban renewal (asanace), and the architecture of this area, while also touching on the present day – Pařížská as a symbol of luxury. The programme will also address the controversy surrounding the InterContinental Hotel reconstruction and the redesign of Miloš Forman Square.

Guides: Kateřina Knoblochová & Petr Zeman. Meeting point: at the fountain near the Church of St. Nicholas on Old Town Square. Children under 15 enter free; strollers are welcome, though the terrain is more challenging for them.

This is a benefit walk – proceeds from admission will support the restoration of small monuments managed by the association and its operations. In case of low interest, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the event, with at least 48 hours' notice. Information about any cancellation will be posted on the Facebook event page and on the website prazdnedomy.cz in the Walks section.
