Prague Concert Orchestra presents a programme of classical, film and popular music at the Church of St. Nicholas on Old Town Square, featuring soprano, trumpet and organ.

During the concert, the musicians perform from two different locations in the church, so the sound comes from different directions and transforms depending on the acoustics of the Baroque space.

About the venue: Church of St. Nicholas

The Church of St Nicholas on Malostranské náměstí is the most famous Baroque church in Prague and has been a national cultural monument since 1995. The building took roughly a century to complete, with three generations of architects involved: Kryštof Dientzenhofer, Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer and Anselmo Lurago. The dome spans 20 m in diameter and the interior height to the top of the lantern is nearly 57 m, the highest in Prague. Concerts on the historic 18th-century organ are held here year-round.
