About the venue

Klub Parník is a music club located on the ground floor of the historic Vila Hanse Ulricha on Sokolská třída in the centre of Ostrava, operated by the Centrum kultury a vzdělávání Moravská Ostrava. It opened in April 1996 with an initial focus on jazz, and has since expanded to blues, folk, rock, and other genres. Around 200 concerts take place here each year, and the club also hosts blues and jazz festivals. The venue has wheelchair access and a bar.
