Evening Tour of the Piarist Church
An evening tour of the Baroque Piarist church featuring laser installations and contemporary art in dramatic lighting.
Klášterní zahrady (Monastery Gardens) in Litomyšl is a public park of over one hectare situated next to the former Piarist monastery, between two churches of the town and close to the castle. The gardens were created through a reconstruction completed in 2000, designed by architects Zdeněk Sendler, Václav Babka and Radko Květ. Visitors can enjoy a gazebo with a view over the town, flower beds, and a pool with a sculptural group donated to the town by sculptor Olbram Zoubek. During the Smetanova Litomyšl festival, the gardens serve as an accompanying open-air stage.
