Alexandr Starý is a Czech pianist from Ostrava, where he trained at the Janáček Conservatory and later at the university. He works as a répétiteur at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre and performs regularly with the Státní filharmonie Brno. A prize-winner at the International Beethoven Competition in Hradec nad Moravicí and the Chopin Competition in Mariánské Lázně, he also received the best-accompanist award at the Elena Obraztsova Competition in Moscow. A member of the Petrof ART Family, he has in recent years toured Europe as an interpreter of Ludovico Einaudi's music.
Alexandr Starý is included in 2026 in the European tour The Music of Ludovico Einaudi Tribute, which includes stops in Hungary (Veszprém, Kaposvár, Kecskemét, Zalaegerszeg, Dunakeszi, Székesfehérvár) and other countries.
In December 2025, Alexandr Starý performed in Prague in the Church of St. Simon and Jude with a program of Ludovico Einaudi's music as part of a European candlelight tour.
