Alexandr Starý is a Czech pianist from Ostrava, where he trained at the Janáček Conservatory and later at the University of Ostrava. He works as a répétiteur at the Moravian National Theatre and performs regularly with the Státní filharmonie Brno. A member of the Petrof ART Family, he has won prizes at international competitions including the Beethoven Competition in Hradec nad Moravicí and the Chopin Competition in Mariánské Lázně.
