Kino Květen on Havlíčkova street has been showing films since 25 December 1930, when it opened in a newly built functionalist building. The single-screen cinema is city-owned, seats 455 across two balconies, and has run on DCI digital projection with 3D and Dolby sound since 2010. Its 12 × 9 m screen covers every seat in the house; the programme mixes Czech and international releases with senior screenings and, in summer, open-air cinema.
