Michael Szatmary - Local Sex Symbol - Stand-up Special
Michael Szatmary, a star of the Slovak stand-up scene, brings his stand-up special to Uherské Hradiště with his sharpest material and relentless humour.
Kino Hvězda has stood on Náměstí Míru since October 1967 and is one of Uherské Hradiště's architectural landmarks. Brno-based architect Zdeněk Michal designed it as a multi-purpose building: the horseshoe-shaped auditorium with around 500 seats sits underground, doubling as a civil-defence shelter. A 2011 renovation turned it into a full cultural centre, and today it hosts films, concerts, theatre, conferences and exhibitions alongside its regular cinema programme. Since 2026 it operates under the Klub kultury Uherské Hradiště umbrella.
