About the venue

A functionalist hotel on Česká street, built in 1928 to designs by architect Bohuslav Fuchs. Together with Villa Tugendhat, it is one of only two Brno buildings in this style listed as a national cultural monument. The structure occupies a plot just 8 × 34 metres wide and, at 40 metres tall, ranks among the narrowest hotels in Europe. Following reconstruction in 2016-2022, it offers 37 rooms, a restaurant, café, a museum dedicated to Fuchs, and a panoramic rooftop terrace.
