Bohuslav Fuchs (1895–1972) was a Czech architect and key figure of functionalism and interwar modernism. He worked mainly in Brno, where he designed numerous notable buildings, including the Hotel Avion. His work is characterised by functional clarity and a close relationship between architecture and its surroundings.
