About the venue

Galerie Jáma 10 is a non-profit gallery in Moravská Ostrava, founded in 1998 by Jiří Surůvka and Karel Vilím. It occupies a former shop with a glazed street-facing display window and is run by the Galerie Michal association. The programme covers contemporary art in a broad sense - painting, objects, video, site-specific installations and performance - with a focus on emerging Czech and international artists.
