About the venue

Colours of Ostrava is the largest international music festival in the Czech Republic, held every summer since 2002. From 2012 onwards it has taken place in the industrial grounds of Dolní Vítkovice, where former steelworks and mines form the backdrop for 16 stages - four open-air, six indoor, plus a theatre stage, a kids' stage, and a cinema. Since 2016 the festival runs alongside the Meltingpot international discussion forum.
