This comedy is about one average family. The father works as master in the factory and his son is studying on high school. One day father must start to visit the evening school. It's the same school as his son visiting. The lives both students are connecting together. The son must teach the math and physics his own father. The father getting to know, that the life of the students is not simple as he supposed.

Jiří Schmitzer is a Czech actor, a graduate of DAMU and a long-standing member of Studio Ypsilon in Prague. He is known for his theatre work as well as appearances in Czech films and television productions, with a style marked by understated humour and natural delivery.
Iva Janžurová is a Czech actress, one of the most prominent figures of Czech theatre and film from the second half of the 20th century. She has performed at the National Theatre and appeared in numerous films and television productions, earning several awards including the Czech Lion.
Zdeněk Svěrák is a Czech writer, screenwriter, and actor. He is well known for writing song lyrics in collaboration with Jaroslav Uhlíř, and as the screenwriter of films by Jiří Menzel and his son Jan Svěrák. He won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film for the screenplay of Kolja (1997).
He graduated from DAMU, after which he played for three seasons at the Vinohrady Theatre (then the Czechoslovak Army Theatre). He then anchored at the Drama Club until 1992, where his performances won him critical acclaim. He briefly performed at the National Theatre, but left the theatre permanently in August 1994.
