Iva Janžurová (born 19 May 1941 in Žirovnice) is a Czech stage and screen actress whose career spans more than six decades. After training at Prague's DAMU, she spent over two decades at the Vinohrady Theatre before joining the National Theatre company in 1988, where she was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2018. She holds two Czech Lion awards - for the films Co chytneš v žitě and Výlet - and is equally celebrated for her stage work, including the role of Winnie in Beckett's Happy Days, which earned her both the Alfréd Radok Award and the Thalia Prize.
