A modern-day astronaut named Toník lands on the Moon, where he meets a peculiar company: Cyrano de Bergerac, heroes from Jules Verne's "Journey to the Moon," and above all the boastful Baron Prášil. The Baron wants Toník to experience the wonders of life on Earth, and together they set off to Turkey to rescue the lovely Princess Bianka from the clutches of a treacherous Sultan. The Baron attempts to charm her and throws himself into wild adventures – he finds himself inside a whale's belly, flies on the claws of a giant bird, rides a seahorse underwater, and travels on a cannonball through scenes of war. In the end, however, the beautiful Princess is won over by the brave dreamer Toník, and together they return to the Moon.
