Botswana and Namibia
Travel lecture by David Švejnoha exploring two southern African countries. In Chobe National Park, river cruises wind between elephant families, while safari reveals African wilderness in its natural state. The journey continues to Namibia - through the iconic Etosha park, remote Kaokeveld, and authentic Himba villages near Epupa Falls on the Angola border.
The route continues through wild Damaraland to the rock engravings of Twyfelfontein, the Brandberg mountain massif, and a colony of thousands of seals at Cape Cross. A stop in Swakopmund precedes an excursion to the Spitzkoppe area with its lunar landscape and endemic welwitschia mirabilis plants.
The journey culminates south of the Tropic of Capricorn - the world's highest dunes near Solitaire, red sand and the parched landscape of Deadvlei. The farewell comes with views of Fish River Canyon and the so-called Ghost Town.
