Freight Yard Žižkov 2036

A debate accompanying the exhibition of the same name, running from September 2 at the Community Platform at Jeronýmova 9 in lower Žižkov. It is part of the open-air festival Žižkovská spojka 2026 (www.zizkovska-spojka.cz), continuing the tradition of Landscape festivals and long devoted to public space in Prague 3.

The wider area of Freight Yard Žižkov (NNŽ) has been undergoing transformation for roughly five years. Since this year, when Prague City became the owner of the historic NNŽ complex, the strategic concepts of IPR Prague and development projects by private investors have gained new momentum. The debate aims to present Žižkov and Prague residents with key strategic documents and territorial revitalization projects - in terms of housing construction, transport, social and cultural services.
