A two-day doll-making course led by Ukrainian instructor Nataliy Vorozhko takes place on 7-8 November 2026 at Palác Lucerna.

On the first day, you will model individual doll parts and assemble them using the instructor's original forms. The result is a unique 20-25 cm doll with a movable head. On the second day, the doll receives hair, you bring it to life by painting the face, and sew clothes for it.

All techniques are simplified, making the course suitable for beginners. The course includes free admission to the Doll Prague 2026 exhibition.

About the venue: Palác Lucerna

Palác Lucerna is a multi-purpose cultural and shopping complex in Prague's New Town, built between 1907 and 1921 by engineer Vácslav Havel - grandfather of the future president. One of the first reinforced-concrete buildings in Prague, with a glass-roofed passage, it has been a national cultural monument since 2017. At its core is the Great Hall, holding up to 2,500 standing guests, used for concerts, balls and lectures. The complex also includes Kino Lucerna - the oldest still-operating cinema in the Czech Republic - and the famous passage with David Černý's sculpture "Kůň" (1999).
