The Lovesick Skirt-Chaser

American ambassador Harry Douglas tells his wife Lois he's heading to Scotland for a golf weekend, but secretly returns to their empty home to arrange a romantic encounter with their neighbor Marianne. Both plan to fulfill their fantasies - she as a French maid, he as Tarzan.\n\nTheir plans quickly unravel when Harry's daughter Debbie returns with her boyfriend Joe, who spends much of the play disguised as a girl named Josephine - and Harry falls madly in love with him. Meanwhile, the embassy faces a bomb threat, so Harry's secretary Faye Baker and Captain South from the U.S. Marine Corps arrive to set up a crisis team. Marines surround the property and no one can leave. Captain South believes he's on the trail of a mad terrorist, while clumsy Faye nearly causes the destruction of Great Britain.\n\nMichael Parker's farce promises a surprising ending and plenty of comedic situations.
