Lakeside X + The Brute

Lakeside X will present their new concert programme with new compositions on 16 October in Brno for the first time. The band is currently finishing their fifth studio album in collaboration with producer Daniel Meyer and Depeche Mode drummer Christian Eigner. Swiss-German group The Brute will perform as special guest.

Lakeside X is a Prague-based alternative band working at the intersection of synth-pop, electronics and guitar music. Over more than twenty years of existence, they have released four studio albums and established themselves on the European electronic and alternative scene - their fanbase spans from the Czech Republic through Germany, Poland and the UK to the USA and South America. After resuming activity in 2020, they began collaborating with Daniel Meyer (Haujobb, Architect, Covenant) and released the album "Love Disappears" (2022), which premiered at Lucerna Music Bar in Prague. In 2025, the band performed nearly 40 concerts across Europe - in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. They performed as support for Depeche Mode (Prague, 2023), shared the stage with And One, Front 242 and Suicide Commando, and played at festivals including Wave-Gotik-Treffen, NCN Leipzig, Schwarze Ball (CH), EXIT Festival (RS) and Rock for People (CZ).

The Brute is a Swiss-German project founded in 2018 by songwriter Daniel Gierke. It combines progressive electronic sounds with rock energy and elements of electropop and film soundtracks. Their debut album reached 2nd place on German alternative charts, with the single "Driving To You" hitting 1st place. The band performs throughout Europe, has appeared at festivals including Echoes Of Rebellion in Cologne and Reborn Open Air, and has performed as support for Forced To Mode, Das Ich, Nite (USA) and Kirlian Camera.
