Lakeside X + The Brute
Lakeside X presents their new concert programme featuring fresh material from their upcoming album produced by Daniel Meyer and Depeche Mode drummer Christian Eigner, with Swiss-German group The Brute as special guest.
Lakeside X are a Prague-based synth-pop band whose roots go back to the 1990s project Dark Ages; they first performed under the Lakeside Church name at a Depeche Mode fan convention in 1997. Centred on vocalist and songwriter Janne Marvannen, the band has released four studio albums, with the 2022 comeback record Love Disappears produced by Daniel Myer (Haujobb, Covenant). They have built a following across Europe and beyond, and in July 2023 opened for Depeche Mode in Prague in front of more than 40,000 people.
Lakeside X released the single 'Factory Flowers', their first new recording in three years and a preview of their upcoming fifth album; the single was produced by Daniel Myer.
The band released the vinyl EP 'Fractured', which was first available exclusively at their concert on June 12, 2026 at Cargo Gallery in Prague.
Lakeside X undertook an extensive European tour as support band for Empathy Test, De/Vision and Christiana Eigner, including a performance at Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig.
In 2024, the band toured twelve German cities with Empathy Test and performed at the Serbian EXIT Festival.
Depeche Mode selected Lakeside X as the support band for their Prague concert on July 30, 2023, where the band performed in front of more than 40,000 spectators.
