About

Lakeside X are a Prague-based synth-pop band whose roots go back to the 1990s project Dark Ages; they first performed under the Lakeside Church name at a Depeche Mode fan convention in 1997. Centred on vocalist and songwriter Janne Marvannen, the band has released four studio albums, with the 2022 comeback record Love Disappears produced by Daniel Myer (Haujobb, Covenant). They have built a following across Europe and beyond, and in July 2023 opened for Depeche Mode in Prague in front of more than 40,000 people.
