Namibia

A traveller's lecture about Namibia - a land of endless deserts, wild animals, and abandoned places.

The talk covers the dunes of Sossusvlei, among the highest in the world, the landscape where desert meets ocean, and abandoned diamond cities slowly consumed by sand. The programme also includes Etosha National Park - one of Africa's best places to observe elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions - and the green Caprivi region, a complete contrast to the arid rest of the country.
