Almost a Theatre Company: How Vaclav Healed the Princess and The Enchanted Forest

The Antonín Dvořák Memorial in Vysoká u Příbrami invites you to puppet theatre on summer Sundays for children and parents. In good weather, performances take place in the castle park; in bad weather, inside the castle.

The programme features two fairy tales. The first is based on Erben's tale of a princess who lost her voice and a shepherd boy who helped her find it again. The second is an old Czech fairy tale about great love, betrayal, boundless friendship, and terrible danger.

Almost a Theatre Company is a professional touring puppet theatre from České Budějovice, led by puppeteer Viktor Pirošuk - the creator of all the puppets, who carries them, transports them, operates them, gives them voice, and reads them bedtime stories in the evening.
