Description was written before the event

African music festival AFROSTRAVA takes place in Ostrava with live music, dance, and culture from across the African continent.

About the venue: Multifunctional Hall Gong

GONG is a multifunctional cultural centre in Ostrava's Dolní oblast Vítkovice district, created by converting a 19th-century gasometer. Its steel frame and glazed roof now host concerts, conferences, exhibitions and corporate events. The building is part of the wider Vítkovice industrial complex, a protected national cultural monument.
