Dead Bob (CA) + Už jsme doma (CZ)

Dead Bob is a Canadian band that effectively continues the legacy of the world-renowned NoMeansNo. John Wright - drummer, principal composer, and driving force of NoMeansNo - decided to shift the focus of his work to his originally solo project Dead Bob after some band members departed, continuing both live and studio activity there. The repertoire consists largely of NoMeansNo songs (written by John Wright), alongside new compositions in a similar vein. The name Dead Bob comes from the eponymous NoMeansNo track from the album Sex Mad.

The band features Ford Pier (keyboards, trombone, guitar, vocals - D.O.A., Roots Roundup, Junior Gone Wild), Byron Slack (guitar, vocals - Invasives), Kristy-Lee Audette (guitar, trumpet, vocals - Rong), and Colin MacRae (bass guitar, vocals - Pigment Vehicle).

Dead Bob has released two studio albums: Life Like (2023) and Nothing Changes Everything (2026), both on Alternative Tentacles. The band will perform at several European festivals in summer, and in autumn will play two Czech tour dates - one of which is this Plzeň concert.
