Dead Bob is a Canadian band built around John Wright, the drummer and chief songwriter of NoMeansNo. After that group wound down, Wright shifted his focus here, carrying on both live and in the studio. The setlist draws heavily on NoMeansNo songs - most of which Wright wrote himself - alongside newer material in a similar vein. The name comes from the NoMeansNo track "Dead Bob" off Sex Mad.
