Rhythm in the Circus Performer's Body (for children 6–9 years)
Středisko volného času Lužánky, Brno
200 CZK · ≈ 8 €
A workshop for children aged 6–9 that combines movement, rhythm, and circus props. Through storytelling, participants discover tempo, dynamics, and silence, and together create a simple movement composition – they become instruments themselves and explore what rhythm does to the body and how the body adapts to rhythm.
The workshop develops coordination, rhythm perception, free and guided movement, musicality, and playfulness.
The instructor is Kristýna Kučerová, a graduate of JAMU (Physical Theatre programme). She works as an actress in independent theatres bazmek entertainment, Mikro-teatro, and Divadlo Aldente, where she also leads training for actors with Down syndrome. She works as a medical clown and is part of a social circus programme. In her teaching work with children and adults, she focuses on body work, clown principles, rhythm and coordination exercises, developing attention, perception, and presence.
