Description was written before the event

Celebrate the 184th birthday of Pilsner Urquell beer with us. Back at the brewery after a year away!

About the venue: Pivovar Plzeňský Prazdroj

Plzeňský Prazdroj was founded in 1842 as the Burghers' Brewery, where Bavarian brewer Josef Groll produced the first batch of pale lager on 5 October that year - the beer that gave its name to the pilsner style brewed worldwide today. The Pilsner Urquell trademark was registered in 1898, and since 2017 the brewery has been owned by Japan's Asahi group. Visitors walk through historic and modern brewhouses, nine kilometres of hand-carved cellars, and finish with a taste of unfiltered Pilsner Urquell straight from the barrel. The site is the most visited tourist destination in the Plzeň Region.

About: Morčata na útěku

Morčata na útěku is a Brno-based rock-metal band operating since 2004 that has cultivated a dedicated fanbase throughout the Czech Republic. The group's artistic foundation rests on parodies of popular Czech and international hits paired with their own lyrics - typically crude and pub-influenced in character - and they identify themselves as an "aggro-jazz" ensemble. In addition to cover versions, they produce original compositions, and their live performances emphasize direct audience engagement and irreverent comedy.

The Prague group features vocalist Jan Haubert, Michal Pixa, Ivan Rut, Vladimír Šťástka and Jiří Pátek, who have remained together for over four decades. Compelled to perform under assumed names during the normalization period, they nevertheless cultivated a dedicated fanbase and were recognized in 2010 with induction into the Czech Beat Hall of Fame by Radio Beat listeners.
