Kavej 2 Fest

An outdoor premiere of the film "Kavej 2" at the Prešov amphitheatre combines open-air screening with a musical and entertainment programme. The projection will begin after dark.

Audience members will have the chance to meet the actors and creative team behind the film. The musical programme features the band Heľenine Oči, songs by Petr Stašák, and a DJ set by Mimóza performed by Janka Kovalčiková and Lenka Libjáková. Stand-up comedian Juraj Šoko Tabaček will host the entire evening. Organisers have also announced a musical surprise.

"Kavej 2" continues the stories of Klára (Anna Jakab Rakovská) and Štanci (Pavol Šimun), who live in the east under one roof with a dictatorial mother-in-law (Lenka Bariliková). Their shared life is disrupted by Štanci's cousin Šimon (Daniel Žulčák), while Klára decides to help her friend Veronika (Janka Kovalčiková) recover from heartbreak - she sets off with her to Šírava, where together with brides from the unit (Lýdia Ondrušová, Zuzana Dancáková, Dana Dopová) they search for a boyfriend for Veronika. The sequel also features Kristián Baran, Branislav Deák, Robo Jakab, Alena Ďuránová, Adrián Urda, Jaro Kysel and others, including a priest (Ander - Ján Pisančin) and a famous singer played by Petr Stašák.
