Screamo quartet Esazlesa from Cheb emerged in 2009 from the ashes of the band Kmen and operates at the intersection of emo-hardcore, screamo, and post-rock. This spring they celebrated ten years since the release of Společnost psů ("Society of Dogs"), one of the finest recordings of Czech emo-hardcore.

They are preparing a new album this year that builds on their previous work Dokud vím, co mám ("As Long as I Know What I Have"). To the skeptics they say: "Making emo after thirty finally makes sense."
