About the venue: Oslavany-Padochov

The TJ Sokol Padochov sokolovna is the main cultural and sports hub of the Oslavany-Padochov district, opened in 1931. The complex includes football and volleyball courts, a hall with a pub, and two children's playgrounds. It hosts a wide range of clubs - from floorball and badminton to the Maggi theatre group. Regular events include balls, an open-air cinema under chestnut trees, the Rozmarýnové hody folk festival, and New Year's Eve celebrations.

About: Aleš Briscein

A Czech tenor from Liberec, Aleš Briscein has been a soloist at Prague's National Theatre since 1995. His repertoire encompasses works by Czech composers (Smetana, Dvořák, Janáček, Fibich) alongside Italian, German, and Russian opera, with regular guest performances at major European opera houses such as the Opéra national de Paris and Berlin's Staatsoper Unter den Linden. Bachtrack ranked him 7th among the world's most frequently engaged opera singers in 2018; he is a two-time recipient of the Thália Award and the Austrian Musiktheaterpreis.
