Aleš Brichta with Project Band
The 18th edition of a major craft beer festival featuring live music. Aleš Brichta and his Project band will perform in the evening.
Aleš Brichta Project is a Prague-based heavy rock band formed in late 2012 by singer Aleš Brichta, co-founder of the Czech metal institution Arakain, with which he recorded eleven albums before departing in 2002. The band has released two studio albums - Údolí sviní (2013) and Anebo taky datel (2015) - and tours Czech venues regularly. Brichta is also a prolific solo artist whose songs such as Dívka s perlami ve vlasech and Barák na vodstřel have become staples of Czech rock.
The band has a busy concert calendar planned for 2026 - including Svitavy (9. 5.), Prague - Black Pes (23. 5.) and the traditional Rock Christmas at Barč (17. 12.).
Aleš Brichta stated in the eXtra Host program that his health is stable according to doctors, and rejected speculation about deteriorating vision.
In an interview with Blesk, Brichta openly described his health problems: he has suffered twelve strokes and suffers from optic nerve atrophy with loss of peripheral vision.
The band started 2025 with a concert at Brno's Bobycentre and further performances in Opava and other cities.
Brichta cancelled his participation in the Melodica band's album launch at the last minute due to a sudden deterioration in his health.
😴 Nothing scheduled with this artist in the near future.
