The People bring their tour to Ždánice on Sunday, 15 November 2026 at the Kulturní dům, where they will celebrate Karel Gotta and Czech popular music. The thirteen-member ensemble, featuring a prominent brass section, performs songs by Gotta, Matuška, Hegerová, Rottrová, Špinarová, Korna, Kalousek and Csáková in their own arrangements. This is one of four Czech dates for the group in the coming year. The Kulturní dům sits near the castle and serves as the city's main cultural and social hub, hosting balls, theatrical performances and various community events.

About the venue: Cultural Centre Ždánice

Kulturní dům Ždánice is the main cultural and social venue in the town. It hosts balls, folk celebrations, theatrical performances and various community events, and its spaces can also be rented for private occasions. The venue is located next to the château and its park. The main hall seats around 300 and features a raised stage; a café with a bar on the upper floor accommodates around 100 guests.

A thirteen-strong Brno outfit whose brass-heavy sound draws on Janáček Academy graduates and theatre orchestra veterans. On stage they move freely between pop, funk, swing and full-throttle rock - all in their own arrangements, with a live show that gets the crowd moving.
