HANDEC FEST is a regular summer music event organised by the Kuřim Sports Club since 2013. This year's festival takes place on Saturday, 20 June 2026 on the castle courtyard in Kuřim, with the grounds opening at 16:30.
Programme:
16:30 | DJ Prokop — mixed music and host-led contests from the moment the grounds open.
18:00 | MUCHA — pseudo-punk band fronted by Nikola Muchová, known for provocative songs about male inadequacy, quirks, and other oddities of life.
19:45 | CIVILNÍ OBRANA — original punk rock enhanced with electronic samples, four studio albums to their name.
21:30 | U2 STAY TRIBUTE BAND — a concert tribute to U2.
23:00 | MANIAC — dance-rock band with witty lyrics and stadium-sized choruses.
Admission: 300 CZK in advance via SMSTicket (until 31 May 2026), 500 CZK at the gate. Children under 15 enter free.
Throughout the event, food stalls are available offering food, soft drinks, coffee, draught beer, Moravian wine, and other alcoholic beverages. Outside drinks are not permitted on the grounds. Glass containers, weapons, psychotropic substances, flammable materials, pyrotechnics, laser pointers, and film cameras are prohibited. Dogs and other animals are not allowed. All visitors receive an identification wristband at the entrance, which must be worn throughout the event.
