Jazz Open Ostrava 2026 – Justin-Lee Schultz Band, Boris Band Combination feat. Marcin Żupański & Vít Rokyta, Matyáš Papp Trio feat. Milan Angelo Novák

Jazz Open Ostrava 2026 celebrates the festival's 20th anniversary. The evening at Slezsko-ostravský Castle takes place on Thursday, 18 June 2026 from 19:00.

The programme opens with the Matyáš Papp Trio featuring Milan Angelo Novák – young jazz musicians and students at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague. Next comes the Boris Band Combination of pianist, composer and producer Boris Urbánek with guests: Polish saxophonist Marcin Żupański and guitarist Vít Rokyta.

The headline guest is multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Justin-Lee Schultz, who has progressed from childhood appearances on the television show America's Most Talented Family to become a protégé of Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder, and has collaborated with Jacob Collier and Steve Vai. He will perform at Jazz Open Ostrava in the Czech Republic for the first time.
