Tigran Hovakimyan arrives in Hlučín on Saturday, 10 October 2026 at Hlučínská štěrkovna. The concert takes place in the unusual setting of a lake on the southwestern edge of the city, formed by flooding a former gravel pit. Hovakimyan is part of his nine-date Czech tour, which brings him to nine cities from September through October. Hlučínské jezero serves as an extensive sports and recreation area spanning over 131 hectares, creating a distinctive backdrop for this concert by the Armenian composer and guitarist.

About the venue: Hlučín Gravel Pit

Hlučínská štěrkovna - officially Hlučínské jezero - was created in 1990 by flooding a former gravel pit on the southwestern edge of Hlučín. The lake covers over 131 ha with a maximum depth of 4 m, and the surrounding recreational area includes beaches, a wake park, minigolf, a boat rental and a campsite. The international music festival Štěrkovna Open Music takes place here every summer.
