About: Dymytry

Dymytry is a Prague metal band established in 2003 by guitarist Jiří "Dymo" Urban, the son of Arakain's founder. The ensemble developed the psy-core genre and performs wearing insect-themed masks crafted by artisans from the National Theatre. Albums Revolter and Pharmageddon achieved platinum and gold status respectively, and in 2024 the band made history as the first Czech metal group since Arakain to sell out Prague's O2 Arena. That year also marked a vocal change when Václav Noid Bárta took over as frontman.

About: Arakain

Arakain is a Czech heavy metal group established in 1982 in Prague's Strašnice district. The band ranks among the most enduring and decorated acts on the Czech metal scene, having released over twenty studio albums and earned multiple gold and platinum certifications, including the Anděl award for hard & heavy music. Aleš Brichta served as frontman during the 1980s and 1990s; Jan Toužimský has held the vocal position since 2005, while guitarist Jiří Urban remains the only original member in the current lineup.

About: CHECKPOINT

CheckPoint, a Prague-based rock band established in 2004, began as a crossover project before evolving toward melodic rock with humorous songwriting. Operating as a four-member ensemble since 2017, the band features frontman Tomáš "ToM" Chrudimský (vocals, guitar), Jakub Šmatlák (guitar), Sláva Safonkin (bass) and Martin Lachman (drums). The 2019 release Návštěva z vesmíru marked their fifth studio album and the first to feature Chrudimský as lead vocalist throughout, following his transition from guitarist to singer. The group has served as support for Czech rock acts Škwor and Harlej.
