Dymytry is a Prague-based metal band founded in 2003 by guitarist Jiří "Dymo" Urban, son of Arakain founder Jiří Urban Sr. The band coined the term "psy-core" for their style and perform in insect-motif masks made by craftspeople from the National Theatre. Their albums Revolter and Pharmageddon earned platinum and gold certifications respectively, and in 2024 they became the first Czech metal act since Arakain to sell out the O2 Arena in Prague. That same year, longtime vocalist Miloš Meier departed and was replaced by Václav Noid Bárta.
