Olomouc Quartet brings its tour to Ostrava on Friday, 25 September 2026, performing at the Evangelical Church of Christ with popular hits by Adele, Coldplay, Rihanna and other stars arranged for strings. The concert runs 65 minutes and takes place by candlelight. The Evangelical Church of Christ, also known as the Red Church, is a brick building from 1905-1907 with a 60-metre tower, listed as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. This performance is one of five Czech dates on the quartet's tour, with additional shows scheduled in Brno.

About the venue: Evangelical Church of Christ

The Evangelical Church of Christ in Ostrava, also known as the Red Church, was built in 1905–1907 to designs by Viennese architects Karel Troll and Ludvík Faigl. The single-nave brick building with a 60 m asymmetric tower is a listed cultural monument. Its interior features a marble altar, an oak pulpit, and a wooden coffered ceiling that gives the church excellent acoustics, making it a venue for concerts as well. Since 2009 the church has been jointly owned by the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and the Silesian Evangelical Church A. C.
