A weekend music and entertainment festival for children and adults takes place in the former NH Ostrava football stadium. The opening will be held on Friday evening - cellist Petr Špaček and organist Přemysl Kšica will perform in the Church of the Holy Spirit as part of the "Evening for the Soul" concert.

About: Petr Špaček

Petr Špaček is a Czech cellist who studied at the New England Conservatory in Boston. He won the international Concertino Praga competition and has performed as a soloist with leading Czech orchestras including the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK and Prague Philharmonia. Since 2021 he has pursued a multi-genre solo career combining classical cello with pop and rock repertoire.

About: Přemysl Kšica

Přemysl Kšica is a Czech organist born in Prague in 1981. He studied at the Prague Conservatory, the Academy of Performing Arts (AMU), and the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart, with a particular focus on organ improvisation. Since 2013 he has served as the house organist at St. Nicholas Church in Malá Strana, and he also teaches at the Teplice Conservatory. His competition prizes include second place at the International Organ Competition of Petr Eben in Opava (2010).
