On 5 September 2026, the Mutěnice amphitheatre will host one of the largest wine festivals in Moravian Slovakia. The programme features a costumed procession, cimbalom orchestras, folk ensembles, and a wine auction.

Saturday evening is dedicated to concerts: Michal Horák, Čechomor, and Pam Rabbit.

Local wines, burčák, regional specialities, and market stalls will be available on site.

About the venue: Amphitheatre Pod Búdama

An open-air summer amphitheatre located in the Pod Búdama wine-cellar complex on Vinařská street in Mutěnice. In use for cultural events since 2013, it features a covered stage with dressing rooms; in summer the auditorium is sheltered by a large tent. Regular events include the Mutěnice Vintage Festival, the Festival Mezi Sklepy (Between the Cellars), and a pop-rock band festival. The venue is available to organisations, associations and private individuals.

About: Michal Horák

Michal Horák (born 1998 in Hradec Králové) is a Czech composer and singer-songwriter who performs on guitar, piano, harmonica and heligonka. He gained recognition through victories in the Czechtalent and Česko zpívá competitions in 2013, and received the Discovery of the Year award at the Český slavík poll in 2021. His work draws from folk traditions and is characterized by situational humour and an astute commentary on everyday occurrences. He has released four studio albums through 2025 and has collaborated with philharmonic orchestras on multiple occasions.

About: Čechomor

Čechomor, a Czech folk ensemble established in 1988 by Karel Holas and František Černý, specializes in performing Czech, Moravian and Slovak traditional music through contemporary arrangements. The group achieved major recognition with the 2001 album Proměny, produced by Jaz Coleman, which garnered three Anděl Awards and a Czech Lion award in 2002 for the soundtrack to Rok ďábla. The band has maintained an active touring schedule across Europe, North America, Australia and Asia for over three decades.
