Pavlušův Mistřín

The traditional Pavlušův Mistřín brass band festival takes place every two years in Svatobořice-Mistřín. The name originates from a personal promise made by the current bandmaster František Pavluš to his brother Antonín - a symbol of hope and human strength. He pledged to his brother Antonín, who faced a serious illness, that if he overcame the disease, he would establish a festival bearing his name.
